Buttery, rich, and filled with childhood memories — our Romanian Walnut Cookies, traditionally known as Nuci, are a nostalgic Eastern European delicacy made using a cherished family recipe.
Each cookie is shaped like a walnut shell and baked until lightly golden, then filled with a creamy mixture of dark chocolate, honey, rum, and finely crushed walnuts. The result is a perfect balance of textures — crisp on the outside, smooth and indulgent inside.
These handmade cookies come from Chef Geanina’s Romanian childhood recipe and are now lovingly prepared in small batches in our North London patisserie.
